This Open-Level class invites a broad spectrum of movers to work patiently in my movement language. This 2 hour class will progress from warm up, to across the floor, to learning choreography, to experimenting with the vocabulary and musicality in a more inclusive and unique manner. I have developed this open-level format while teaching internationally and will focus not just on what we are learning but also HOW we learn it. I hope to engage with mixed levels, ages, style of dancers.

This class will cater the to intermediate/advanced dancer, using metaphors, imagery, and jargon from the professional environment . The last portion of class will be filmed, by one of New York City’s best and most artistic videographers for the purpose of learning, capturing, and accomplishing a task in a workshop environment.

The Contemporary Training for Professional Dancers at Marameo is an open class, so you can come whenever you want and pay per session. The classes have a high tempo and are pitched to dancers with a high level of technical ability so we ask you only to participate if you’ve received a professional dance education.
